Visiting Seattle for Gynecomastia Surgery by Dr. Pratt

Dr. Pratt cares for many Washingtonian gynecomastia patients not residing in the greater Seattle area, such as those from east of the Cascades, the Olympic peninsula, Southern Washington, as well as Whatcom and Skagit counties north of Seattle. Many of these patients will plan a day trip by car or train and return home the same day following their consultation. It is also possible to complete your preoperative appointment the day of your consultation if you have traveled from afar.

Patients living outside of the Western Washington region may require an overnight stay for their consultation, as well as hotel accommodations when they undergo a surgical procedure. Our staff can help patients obtain transportation between Sea-Tac Airport and the SGC offices as well as give suggestions regarding appropriate hotel accommodations, restaurants, local entertainment and sight-seeing opportunities.

If you choose to remain in the greater Seattle area after your procedure, post-operative care arrangements can be made with a registered nurse who specializes in the care of cosmetic surgery patients. If you are interested in this type of care, be sure to give our staff advance notice prior to your surgery date so accommodations can be arranged well before your arrival.

Follow-up visits for most cases are brief, since usually there are no drains or sutures to remove. The Seattle Gynecomastia Center staff would be glad to arrange for your transportation between your hotel and one of our offices in either Kirkland or Everett, as well as from your hotel to Sea-Tac airport when you are ready to leave for home.
