Upon my first visit with with Dr. Pratt, he and his staff were extremely professional and hospitable – very welcoming – in a nice office in Kirkland. His conclusion was that I needed two things: a stealth incision in my areolas to pull out and eliminate the glandular breast tissue; then to eliminate the fatty areas by way of liposuction in the chest walls. I pulled the trigger and got on his calendar – it was two weeks out from surgery. The day of surgery, I arrived at 6:15am to meet with his staff (Kristen is SUPERB) and the anesthesiologist. All in all, his entire staff was A+ in making me feel great about what was about to occur. Dr. Pratt, beyond being an extremely experienced and reputable surgeon is also an artist in what he does. He looked at my chest as if it was a blank canvas and was extremely methodical in how we was going to approach the procedure and ultimately for me to achieve the best aesthetic result. While I was nervous for surgery, being that it was my first time, I was much more excited to eliminate the gynecomastia and at the hands of Dr. Pratt. Upon entering the surgery room, all I remember were the staff draping me in a heat blanket, a few smiles, and I was completely out. The next thing I knew, I was on my way out the door, compression vest already on, and on my way to the local hotel to get some rest. Dr. Pratt had pre-prescribed all of the necessary meds for pain, nausea, anxiety, and antibiotics. He ensured I was fully prepared for the entire experience before, during and after. In fact, he called me later that day at 9pm to check in and ensure I was doing okay. I just recently went in for the post-op and he was very pleased with the results – AS WAS I. There was minimal bruising and pain. It felt more like a pressure on my chest that quickly subsided over the next few days. It was tender, as well, but hey I just had surgery so it wasn’t a surprise by an means. The incisions are minimal and hardly noticeable – I certainly could not be more pleased. There is swelling which I have observed has already subsided but I am aware it will take weeks, if not months, for it to fully resolve – although Dr. Pratt made those expectations very clear. Aesthetically, it’s an “A” grade and I am HAPPY!! Dr. Pratt is a bit more in the money department but I would not have settled with anyone else – the extra money was more than worth the piece of mind and results. I knew I was in the best of hands. I also knew that because it’s my body and my health at risk, I did not want to cut corners.

Warm, patient and straightforward. He has great bedside manner and talks about your options and conditions objectively. He treats you like a human being. Finally, his surgical skill is top-notch!

Dr. Pratt is a true surgical artist, and with excellent bedside manners. I can tell he sincerely care about his patients. Dr. Pratt and his amazing staff made me feel comfortable and confident, as I went through surgery for the first time in my life. This is the best decision I’ve taken in my life, and I recommend anyone suffering from gynecomastia to take action and schedule a consultation.

My first appointment with Dr. Pratt was in 2011 for a second opinion. In 2003 I had a procedure for gynecomastia with another surgeon. Unfortunately, the excess chest skin and gynecomastia that remained after this first surgery was very unappealing and I was willing to accept large scars to remove the tissue as a compromise. Dr. Pratt was very confident that he could improve the appearance of my chest with just liposuction, no cutting of skin or gland tissue. Avoiding large scars was very appealing, however I was skeptical. My previous surgeon had told me tissue removal would be necessary for any improvement in appearance. Now, 3 years after my minimally invasive liposuction procedure with Dr. Pratt, my gynecomastia is gone and I have about 95% resolution of the excess skin. It wasn’t until I saw the before pictures that I realized the magnitude of the change in my appearance. My procedure with Dr Pratt was very successful in allowing me to wear any kind of shirt or no shirt at all!

Dr. Pratt recently performed gynecomastia surgery on me. My experience throughout this process has been extremely pleasant, quick, and painless. I have always had excess breast fat and felt self-conscious in my everyday life. I did everything from dieting to exercising and still nothing helped. Whenever I would tell people close to me about it, I would get the usual ‘Why don’t you just do push ups?’ I realized surgery was the only option. I researched many doctors in Washington state. I read up on their medical background. After emailing via Dr. Pratt’s website, I received an email from one of Dr. Pratt’s Patient Care Coordinators. She was able to address any concerns and put me at ease. She quoted me a price range that was reasonable. I met with Dr. Pratt for my consultation felt confident that he would be able to help me. He is incredible at what he does and has a lot of experience. I recommend Dr. Pratt to anyone out there looking into getting this type of surgery.

I went to Dr. Pratt for gynecomastia surgery and had a terrific experience. I considered other plastic surgeons but was impressed with both his innovative approach and his depth of experience. He takes genuine pride in his work and it was apparent that he was as pleased as I was with the results. His staff are excellent communicators and a pleasure to work with.

When I finally figured out what was wrong with me, I began to go online to research more about it and what could be done about it. I found websites devoted to Gynecomastia and all kinds of men talking in the forums about their lives, issues and who had done their surgery. I started to get excited about getting rid the biggest issue in my life. I stumbled on search engines on certain sites and decided to search locally for a plastic surgeon and see where that would lead. I found Dr. Pratt’s website and summoned up the courage to make an appointment. From that first call and my subsequent appointment I knew I was in the right place and had made the correct choice!! Dr. Pratt and his entire staff exemplify the dictum, Physician do no harm. Detailed helpful patient answers to every question, complete step-by-step walk through of every part of the process and constant reassurance and support of my concerns. Dr. Pratt is an artist and contacting him was the best decision I have ever made!!!
